i took my stitching away with me hoping i’d get some time each day to get some more done. I managed to stitch most days. i learnt about what lighting suits me better – i was sitting with my back to a window and the light coming over my shoulder during the day, and at night i was at the dining table under a light that lit the stitching area well. combined with the sky light in the previous job, i shall keep this information in mind when i set up a stitching seat once back in NZ.
so here is a picture as of today. i’ve only got the frames on the blue house to do and the framing around the side, then the centre panel is complete. the curve at the bottom right shows the bottom of the piece. i’m going to finish the blue house, then do the frame to its left, and stitch it to join up with the bottom right corner.
